ere are some suggestions to become physically active:

  • Remember that being physically active does not necessarily mean making "exercise". It is possible to be active in doing things that we like. Make a list of things you love to do that are active and find ways to incorporate them into your life.
  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator and park your car a little farther from the office.
  • Find new activities, different and fun. Try swimming, hiking, skiing. jogging.
  • Find support social. Be active with a family member or friend.
  • Start with 30 minutes a day and see if it is enough to stabilize your weight or lose. You will see if you need to do more.
